Princesses, Superheroes & Cowboys Open TSO Just for Kids Series

The Tucson Symphony Orchestra’s 2016-17 Just for Kids Series opens October 1 going on a musical treasure hunt with the TSO String Quartet in Princesses, Superheroes and Cowboys…Oh My! Come dressed in your favorite costume: tiaras, capes and western wear are all suggested. Performances are at 10:00 and 11:15 a.m. at the Tucson Symphony Center (TSC).

TSO Opens with Gershwin's An American in Paris

The Tucson Symphony Orchestra will open its new season on Friday, September 23 at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, September 25 at 2:00 p.m. at the Tucson Music Hall performing An American in Paris, George Gershwin’s celebration of life in the French capital. Tucson Symphony Music Director José Luis Gomez will conduct the program, Classic Gershwin. Classic Gershwin will also feature a performance of Ravel’s Piano Concerto by Van Cliburn Competition winner Joyce Yang, Gershwin’s Cuban Overture and Villa-Lobos’ Chôros No. 6.

TSO, Marshall Foundation Launch TEAMtix for Students

The Tucson Symphony Orchestra with support provided by the Marshall Foundation is launching TSO TEAMtix so middle and high school band, orchestra and choir students can attend performances this season for free. The Marshall Foundation will provide a ticket for the student and the TSO will match that with a ticket for a companion.
