Patricia Schwabe has more than 20 years of business experience in real estate and as a small business owner in Tucson, AZ. As partners in Peach Properties, she and her husband Ron, have played a significant role in the resurgent growth of Downtown Tucson with the development and restoration of multiple prime properties throughout Downtown as well as the Warehouse District and the Lost Barrio. Patricia has also been responsible for leasing properties to many notable tenants including Providence Corporation, Summit Funding, Yoga Oasis, Cartel Coffee, Tap and Bottle, and Exo Coffee.

With a strong vision, and passion for Mexico City cuisine, Patricia opened Penca Restaurante in Downtown Tucson in one of her own restored properties in 2013. The menu at Penca is based on many of her family recipes, especially those from her mother Carmen Esperilla and extended family, all of whom are from Mexico City. An instant hit since opening, Penca was recognized by Food and Wine magazine as one of the Top 25 Bars in America in 2013, and has continued to receive high praise in numerous local national and international articles and reviews since then.

Originally from Ensenada Mexico, Patricia lived in San Diego, CA where she received her BA in business and marketing, before moving to Tucson. Patricia lives in Tucson with her husband and her 5 children. She currently serves on the board for Tu Nidito, The Loft Theater, and is also an Ambassador of the Museum of Contemporary Art.
