Conductor David Danzmayr will lead the Tucson Symphony Orchestra in a program featuring all three on the Mrs. Dorothy Dyer Vanek Classic Series program, Best of Both Worlds: Daugherty Debut, Beloved Brahms, on Friday, October 23 at 8:00 p.m. and Sunday, October 25 at 2:00 p.m. at the Tucson Music Hall. The performances will feature pianist Terrence Wilson on Daugherty’s Deus ex Machina, a work Wilson commissioned, premiered and recorded with the Nashville Symphony. The recording won three Grammys the same weekend Wilson last performed with the TSO in February, 2011.
